The White House & NY Times Pardon Electronic Voting & Ignore "Crosscheck" Purge of 1 Million Non-White Votes

From [HERE] The NY Times reports that the Obama administration said on Friday that it confirmed reports from the Department of Homeland Security and intelligence officials that they did not see “any increased level of malicious cyberactivity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on Election Day.” The government issued the statement to The Times "on the condition that it be attributable only to a senior official." In other words it should not be attributed to Obama. [MORE]

However, the white house statement did not explicitly say that it had "confirmed reports from the Department of Homeland Security and intelligence officials" as asserted by the NY Times. "Homeland Security" and "intelligence officials" are not mentioned in the White House statement at all. The WH statement only refers to "the federal government" and does not reference any reports.  As such, the statement about 'confirming reports' from Homeland security and intelligence officials  should be attributed to the NY Times. [read it for yourself]

The "senior official" said “the Federal government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day. As we have noted before, we remained confident in the overall integrity of electoral infrastructure, a confidence that was borne out on election day. As a result, we believe our elections were free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.

That said, since we do not know if the Russians had planned any malicious cyber activity for election day, we don’t know if they were deterred from further activity by the various warnings the U.S. government conveyed." [MORE]

The statement came as opponents of Donald J. Trump, some citing fears of vote hacking, are seeking recounts in three states — Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania — where his margin of victory was extremely thin. His margin is less than 11,600 in Michigan, 27,200 in Wisconsin and 68,000 in Pennsylvania.

A drive by Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, for recounts in those states had brought in more than $5 million by midday on Friday, her campaign said, and had increased its goal to $7 million. She filed for a recount in Wisconsin on Friday [MORE]. Computer science experts have asserted that electronic voting systems in the battleground states had serious cybersecurity problems and may have been subjected to malware manipulation. [MORE]

Purge of Non-White Votes. Whether such a challenge will be successful in the face of an elite white media and government with so much invested in the votary's belief in electronic voting remains to be seen. However, investigative journalist Greg Palast has claimed that before a single vote was even cast, the election was already fixed by Trump operatives who eliminated millions of legitimate African American, Latino and Asian voters from the voter rolls in North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Such a challenge has nothing to do with electronic voting. Since election day the elite white media has simply ignored the issue of non-white voters being systematically denied their right to vote. Although the Palast and Green party challenges are distinct they both question the integrity of the voting system and the advertised democracy in the U.S.

Millions of non-white voters were purged by a program known as The Interstate Crosscheck. The program, launched in 2005 by racist suspect, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (in photo), was designed as a method to counter voter fraud. Interstate Crosscheck removes a voter from the voter list if the individual’s name appears to be registered in more than one state. Around 7 million names were put on the list of “potential double voters” before the 2014 election. Crosscheck then compares each state’s list with lists from other states in the program (28 states participate).

An investigation done by Rolling Stone found the program uses a biased and questionable methodology that puts voters with African-American, Latino, and Asian names in greater danger of being purged from the voter list and being falsely accused of double voting. Crosscheck supposedly matches first, middle and last name, plus birth date, and provides the last four digits of a Social Security number for additional verification.

However, in practice a quarter of the names on the list did not have a middle name match. The system also neglected to take into account designations of Jr. and Sr., and the lists obtained by Palast did not include any Social Security numbers. Consequently, an overwhelmingly disproportionate number of non-whites have been removed who have typical Black, Latino and Asian last names and who reside in predominately minority zip codes. Names such as Jackson, Garcia and Wong in areas such as Detroit, Milwaukee and Philadelphia. U.S. Census data shows that minorities are overrepresented in 85 of 100 of the most common last names. “If your name is Washington, there’s an 89 percent chance you’re African-American,” says Palast. “If your last name is Hernandez, there’s a 94 percent chance you’re Hispanic.” Finding these common names the GOP targeted non-white voters on the list.

This inherent bias results in an astonishing one in six Hispanics, one in seven Asian-Americans and one in nine African-Americans in Crosscheck states landing on what Palast dubs “Trump’s hit list.” His investigators calculated 1.1 million non-white people, many spread over crucial swing states were deprived of their right to vote on election day.

According to the exit polls, 88% of black voters voted for Hillary Clinton, as well as 65% of hispanic and asian American voters.

“The list is loaded overwhelmingly with voters of color and the poor,” says Palast. “Many didn’t discover that their vote was stolen until they turned up last Tuesday and found their name missing. In the US they are given something called a provisional ballot, but if your name is not on the voter roll, you can fill out all the provisional votes you like they’re not going to count your vote. – They can’t even if you’re wrongly removed.

Trump victory margin in Michigan:                    13,107

  • Michigan Crosscheck purge list:                       449,922

Trump victory margin in Arizona:                       85,257

  • Arizona Crosscheck purge list:                           270,824

Trump victory margin in North Carolina:        177,008

  • North Carolina Crosscheck purge list:              589,393

Enough votes to swing the election away from the Hillary Clinton victory predicted in polls – explaining suspicious exit polls inconsistencies – and towards a shock result for Trump and Republican victory in the Senate. [MORE]

Despite the list of 7 million suspects, there have only been four arrests and no prosecutions.

Doc Blynd: Voting w/o having economic rights & control of substantive rights is voting fraud

html5 video converter by EasyHtml5Video.com v3.9.1

From "FUNKTIONARY, THE KEY HOLDERS ENPSYCHLOPEDIA." Resonated & Orchestrated by Dr. Blynd, Ph.F.

voting - a pacification (sucker) process which allows the votary to make choices provided to her/him, not decisions. 2) a "privilege" of U.S. citizens to do it behind a curtain—as long as they do it alone. 3) political masturbation exercises for those who can't cop real power. 4) a habitually accepted imposition that gives the votary-vassal-suckers an illusion of inclusion or participation. 5) an act of self-abuse. People mistake their voting for their voice—as the voice of the people is seldom, if ever, their own. While some died fighting for the privilege (not right) to vote or not to vote, they were restricted and therefore had no choice in the matter. If voting was a right, no one would ever have had to lose his or her life in a struggle to exercise that right. The Voting Rights Act of 1964 demonstrates that voting is a civic privilege (franchise) bestowed upon a people instead of the act of voting being an inherent right where exercise of the option to vote is one's own decision without an attached obligation (compulsion) or expectation (compunction).

We need to establish and assert our economic rights and declare our "endependence" by designing, collectively owning, controlling and administering our own systems of monetary and economic exchange (that funktion in the interests of its creators and participants) so as to take ownership of our bodies, labor, and fruits of our mental assets in the form of substantive rights receipts (circulating "money" in electronic form or circulating cash). Whoever creates the symbol that acts as a claim on your labor or wealth (in the absence of any other competing system of exchange) is the true owner of same—and you remain a slave to their system of unjust enrichment for exploitative gain. When we learn to vote with our own "money" and control the systems wherein economic power is wielded, political voting will be seen for the wholesale fraud and sham that it really is so that you may one day respect yourself the morning after voting.

White Over Black System of Unequal Power: In D.C. White Families Are 81 Times Richer Than Black Ones

From [The Atlantic] The wealth discrepancy between blacks and whites is one of the most stark examples of inequality in America. White American families have, on average, around $142,000 in savings and assets, minus debt. Black families’, meanwhile, amounted to only $11,000, according to a 2014 Pew Research study. The gulf between black and white wealth is the worst it has been since the 1980s. Put differently, an average white family has 13 times the wealth of an average black family.

But as though the median numbers for the country as a whole weren’t bad enough, things look much worse in America’s cities, according to a new paper from the Urban institute—even cities such as D.C. where the prevalence of public-sector jobs, a large black population, and a high share of black business owners might make it seem like a place that black families could thrive. But in Washington D.C., the median white family has a staggering 81 times as much wealth as the median black family.

D.C. is not an outlier: In general, urban areas have much more severe racial inequalities, in part because of the concentration of white wealthy people, and the fact that their wealth has not “trickled down” to poor and middle-class black families. According to a 2015  National Asset Scorecard for Communities of Colors, D.C.’s racial wealth gap falls just behind Los Angeles’s, where median wealth for whites was closer to 89 times as much as blacks’. In Miami it was 30 times as high; in Tulsa, 18 times.

Darrick Hamilton, a professor at the New School and one of the authors of the Urban Institute’s study—along with fellow economists Kilolo Kijakazi, Rachel Marie Brooks Atkins, Mark Paul, Anne Price, and William A. Darity Jr.—says that while many ethnic groups might do poorly in one city and thrive in another, that’s not the case for black Americans. “No matter what the geographical context is, black Americans are a low-wealth group,” he told me. “I think the disparities are going to be dramatic wherever we look.”

Hamilton says that while the statistics about magnitude are useful for distilling the gap in balance sheets, they do little to capture what the wealth gap means for black families. In practice, less wealth means diminished access to the education and opportunities that help many Americans reach the middle class. Less wealth decreases opportunities for savings, homeownership, and economic security. And limited wealth accumulation also means that parents and grandparents have little to pass along to the next generation—from paying for school to helping with down payments—which dampens opportunities for intergenerational mobility.

D.C.’s wealth inequality stems from a combination of factors. According to the study, homeownership plays a significant role: Whites living in the District are much more likely than blacks to own homes—something that’s true around the country. In the District, whites with less than a high school education were more likely to own their homes than blacks at any education level, even those with college degrees. And for those who do own their own place, home values for black owners were around $250,000, about 30 percent less than the average value for white owners. Blacks in the District have a much higher unemployment rate, lower education rates, and are much more likely to have received a subprime mortgage.

The District’s racial wealth divide has old and deep origins in centuries of racist policies. The authors highlight a few in particular: the “black codes” of the 1840s, which prevented black people from owning successful stores or working in certain professions; the return of land in the District to the South in the 1870s, which decreased opportunities for ownership among newly freed blacks;  the demolition of Barry Farms—a black enclave founded by freed blacks—in the 1940s to make way for public housing and highway projects; the wave of “urban renewal” projects that swept out black businesses and residents in the 1960s and 70s. The effects of these policies have never been adequately dealt with. “Black people in D.C. have faced more than two centuries of deliberately constructed barriers to wealth building, and some of the highest barriers were embedded by design in law,” the study says.

In the present day, an influx of whiter, wealthier residents is pushing older black residents out. Though property values are increasing, which in theory helps black homeowners, many aren’t able to cash in: Blacks are less likely to own homes in the first place, and many who did were saddled with dangerous subprime loans, and lost their homes to foreclosure during the mortgage crisis. Those who still own their homes tend to owe higher amounts on their mortgages and are more likely to be underwater, making selling much less lucrative proposition than it is for their white counterparts.

One of the main takeaways of the research is that narratives about wealth creation—such as education and hard work as the key to success, or homeownership as a starting point for asset-building—leave out the important truth that wealth begets wealth. “Homeownership is an attribute of wealth,” Hamilton says. “It is wealth in the first place that allows them to have that down payment to generate wealth from homeownership.” Both in the District and nationally, black Americans lag behind in homeownership, and are less likely to own other assets that passively create wealth over time, such as investments or trusts. And they’re much less likely to have inherited wealth from their parents, or family members, or to have received money for a downpayment or to defray the cost of college. [MORE

Green Party Forces Election recount, Audit will take place in Wisconsin - Clinton Legal Team Involved

From [HERE] and [HERE]  Green Party officials filed Friday for a recount in Wisconsin, following reports of voting discrepancies, and were seeking a deeper investigation into the election results, which handed the state to Donald Trump two weeks ago. [MORE]

Wisconsin Green Party co-chairman George Martin said that they were seeking a "reconciliation of paper records" -- a request that would go one step further than a simple recount, spurring, he said, an investigation into the integrity of the state's voting system.

"This is a process, a first step to examine whether our electoral democracy is working," Martin said.

The announcement came as Green Party candidate Jill Stein's Thanksgiving fundraising blitz passed $5 million. The money is well beyond the $2 million mark the Green Party initially set, and Wisconsin party officials said that any additional money not used for the recount would be used to train Green Party candidates for local office. The goal as of Friday was to raise $7 million.

"We don't know, and we think the forensic computer experts have raised serious questions. What we do know is that this was a hack-riddled election, we saw hacks into voter databases, into party databases, into individual email accounts. We know that there were attempts made broadly on state voter databases and we know that we have an election system that relies a computer system that is wide open to hacks," Stein told CNN's John Berman Thursday. "It's extremely vulnerable, Americans deserve to have confidence in our vote."

Late Friday afternoon, the Wisconsin Elections Board said it had received the petition from Stein and the Green Party and "is preparing to move forward with a statewide recount of votes."

"We have assembled an internal team to direct the recount, we have been in close consultation with our county clerk partners, and have arranged for legal representation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice," Wisconsin Elections Board Administrator Michael Haas said. "We plan to hold a teleconference meeting for county clerks next week and anticipate the recount will begin late in the week after the Stein campaign has paid the recount fee, which we are still calculating."

Hacking experts alerted the Clinton campaign earlier this week it was possible, based on voter low turnouts in some counties with electronic voting, that voting systems might have been hacked. But nobody has presented any evidence yet that they were tampered with.

After a period of public silence about the results of the 2016 election, Clinton's top campaign lawyer said the campaign will play a role in the recount initiated Friday by Green Party candidate Jill Stein. It will follow the same approach in Michigan and Pennsylvania if the third-party hopeful pursues recounts in those states as she has indicated.

"Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides," Marc Elias, Clinton's general counsel, wrote Saturday on Medium.

Based on Donald Trump's current standing in the Electoral College, Clinton would have to win all three states to overturn the election results.

Elias, the Clinton campaign lawyer, said that participating in the recount was the right step to ensure a fair outcome for all sides. "Regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself," wrote Elias. [white folks] 'Spitting On Their Own Minds': Terrified by Black Teenager Genocidal White Man Shoots Him To Death

What Next? asked Buddha after a man spit in his face. Buddha's people wanted to kill him but Buddha stopped them. "Buddha said, You keep silent. He has not offended me, but you are offending me. He is new, a stranger, and he may have heard something about me from somebody, has formed some idea, a notion of me. He has not spat on me, he has spat on his notion, his idea of me, because he does not know me at all so how can he spit on me? He must have heard from people something about me – that this man is an atheist, a dangerous man who is throwing people off their track, a revolutionary, a corrupter – he must have heard something about me, he has formed a notion, an idea; he has spat on his own idea.

If you think on it deeply, Buddha said, he has spat on his own mind." [MORE]

William Pulliam had never met James Means before - yet he was fearful of him. According to Pulliam after their brief meeting he shot the 15 yr old to death. What the fuck was going on in this white man's mind?

Amos Wilson provides a possible explanation, "the perpetual domination of African Americans by White Americans psychically requires the White American criminalization of the African male, i.e., the White American perception of the African male as inherently criminal. In the context of White American domination there is no innocent Black male, just Black male criminals who have not yet been detected, apprehended or convicted. Their mere presence inspires in White Americans, fears of being assaulted, raped, robbed, or some other indefinable dread of being criminally victimized...

In the dominant White American consciousness the African male is existentially guilty, (i.e., he is guilty by his mere existence) for merely having the audacity of being alive. There is a pervasive feeling among many White Americans that their world would be much more secure if all young Black males were imprisoned, solitarily confined to their ghettos, or kept under constant surveillance. It is no quirky coincidence that such perceptions, feelings and attitudes toward African American males occur most prevalently within the context of White American dominance. Ultimately, criminality of the Black male regardless of its nature, truth or reality, resides in any act or attitude on the part of Black males which appears to White Americans to defy White American authority, control or dominance." [MORE]

Such an unconscious person who eyes are filled with so many stupid thoughts is dangerous - especially if that individual has the power to create or make his projections a reality for others.

From [HERE] and [HERE] A 62-year-old white man is facing murder charges in the shooting death of a Black teen boy in an alleged confrontation on the street.

William Pulliam confessed to shooting James Means, 15, with a .380 caliber revolver in the capital city of Charleston on Monday, saying he felt threatened by the boy, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. "Mr. Pulliam expressed no remorse," the complaint, written by a Charleston police detective, said.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Steve Ruby said federal authorities have been asked to determine if the shooting can be prosecuted as a hate crime. Pulliam is white, and Means was black.

"The way I look at it, that's another piece of trash off the street," the police detective quoted Pulliam as saying.

"That review is in its early stages, and the fact that a review is being conducted should not be taken as any indication of what the review's outcome will be," Ruby said.

Pulliam told investigators he ate dinner then went to a friend's house after the shooting, according to the complaint.

The attack unfolded around 8:46 p.m. ET Monday, according to the complaint. Two friends who were with Means said they got into an argument with Pulliam after the older man allegedly bumped into Means in front of a Dollar General store. Pulliam went into the store, they said, and after he re-emerged, walked past them on the street.

The boys, standing in front of a house, argued with Pulliam again, the friends told investigators. One of the friends said Means then crossed the street to confront Pulliam. Pulliam then shot Means twice, the friend said.

Means was pronounced dead at CMAC General Hospital, the complaint said.

Pulliam remains jailed without bond because he has yet to appear before a judge, a jail officer said.

Racist Suspect Charged with Murder & Hate crime in El Sobrante slaying of African American man

From [HERE] A racist suspect man has been charged with a hate crime and murder in the death of an African American man found beaten and shot on an El Sobrante road near a pool hall where investigators believe he was attacked.

Daniel Porter-Kelly, 31, who is white, was arrested Nov. 16 and is being held without bail at the Martinez Detention Facility, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.

County prosecutors have charged Porter-Kelly with robbery and murder with a hate crime enhancement in the killing of 28-year-old William Sims of Richmond, police said.

On Tuesday, authorities identified two other suspects for whom they are searching: Ray Simons, 32, of Hercules, and Daniel Ortega, 31, of Novato or Richmond. The two, both of whom are white, are considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe Sims was inside the nearby Capri Club — a pool hall and bar in the 4100 block of Appian Way in El Sobrante — in the early morning hours of Nov. 12 when the suspects jumped, robbed and killed him. He was beaten and shot, authorities said.

Greg Palast Claims Trump Stole Election: Did Not Legitimately Win the Swing States of the Electoral College

From [HERE] and [HERE] Decades of progress created with sweat and determination face destruction.  Within the next six months, we may see the Voting Rights Act repealed—and civil rights set back 50 years; the entirety of our environmental protection laws burnt in a coal pit; police cruelty made our urban policy; the Education Department closed to give billionaires a tax holiday; and a howling anti-Semite as White House Senior Counselor.

But the horror we face is countered by this one hard and hopeful fact:  Donald Trump did NOT win this election.

Trump not only lost the popular vote by millions — he did not legitimately win the swing states of the Electoral College.

Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio:  every one was stolen through sophisticated, and sickeningly racist vote suppression tactics.

If you saw my report for Democracy Now! on election morning, it revealed that Ohio GOP officials turned off anti-hacking software on voting machines, forced Black voters to wait hours in line (while whites had no wait).

And, crucially, I confirmed that purged tens of thousands of minority voters on fake accusations they’d voted twice.  I first exposed this bogus double-voter blacklist called Crosscheck, in Rolling Stone. It’s the sick excrescence crafted by Kris Kobach, the Trump transition team's maven who also created the Muslim-tracker software he’s bringing to the Trump administration.

Green Party Seeks Vote Recount of Staged Hoax Election in three key Rust Belt states

From [HERE] and [HERE] Green Party nominee Jill Stein launched a bid Wednesday to seek a vote recount in three key Rust Belt states as pressure builds among liberals to challenge election results.

The Stein campaign said it needed to raise over $2 million by Friday to pay for recounts. That goal was reached by early Thursday morning, and the campaign has now increased the target to $4.5 million.

"Over the last 48-72 hours, reports have come in from experts, cyberexperts, who are reporting to us some very troubling news about the possibility of security breaches in voting results across this country," Stein campaign manager David Cobb said in a video posted to Stein's Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.

Stein and others are seeking an audit and recount of the November 8 voting results in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, following reports that voting security experts alerted Hillary Clinton's campaign to the possibility of hacks in key counties in those states.

President-elect Donald Trump claimed Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- wins that helped push him comfortably over the threshold of 270 Electoral College votes needed for victory -- while Michigan remains too close to call, more than two weeks after Election Day.

While the loss of those states played a large part in Clinton's downfall, her lead in the popular vote has continued to grow. She now has close to 2 million more votes than Trump -- and pressure has been mounting among liberals for an investigation into what happened on Election Day.

The group of voting scientists -- including University of Michigan's J. Alex Halderman and voting rights activist John Bonifaz -- alerted the campaign that Clinton's tallies fell 7% shy of expectations in counties that used electronic voting machines.

Clinton fell about 27,000 votes shy of Trump in Wisconsin and 60,000 in Pennsylvania -- razor-thin margins in both states, which together account for 30 Electoral College votes. Votes still are being tallied in Michigan, which CNN has not called for either candidate yet.

The Clinton campaign has yet to return requests for comment on the reports. Halderman did not return CNN's calls for comment Wednesday and his voicemail was full when a reporter attempted to contact him.

"A realistic attack on the election is probably going to be honing in on whichever state ends up having the closest margin," Halderman said in an interview on C-SPAN one month before the election.

Halderman is well-known in election security circles and gained some fame after he and his students at the University of Michigan successfully hacked Washington's Board of Elections in 2010 during a trial run of its online voting system.

People who voted using the system were greeted with the University of Michigan's fight song -- placed there by Halderman's students. The city council quickly scrapped plans for the system after that.

Racist Suspect Prosecutor [aka "Death Penalty Donnie"] Described Black Man as "King Kong" to All White Jury - Death Sentence Reversed

Drunk Off Hate. From [HERE] and [MOREA black South Carolina man should be released from death row because a white prosecutor's "racially coded references" made a fair sentencing before an all-white jury impossible, according to a ruling issued Monday by a panel of appellate judges.

The Richmond, Virginia-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled (PDF) on Monday in a habeas appeal by Johnny Bennett, who was convicted of murder, kidnapping and armed robbery. He was sentenced to death by an all-white jury in 2000 after reversal of his original death sentence. Bennett, 46, has been on South Carolina's death row for more than two decades.

The prosecutor, identified in the opinion as Donald Myers [racist suspect in video above], “chose to use racially charged language from the first sentence of his opening argument to his final soliloquy,” the appeals court said, “casting aside the race-neutral presentation he had employed” with the first, mixed-race jury that sentenced Bennett to death. Myers is known as “Death Penalty Donnie” for having sent 28 South Carolina defendants to death row. [MORE] Myers was recently convicted of DUI. [MORE] See video above and below. (below notice the cop and Myers' interaction: in general, white people treat each other humanely but function as psychopaths with non-whites)

In a second sentencing proceeding in 2000, this one before an all-white jury, Solicitor Donnie Myers in his closing argument compared Bennett — who at that time was 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 300 pounds — to "King Kong on a bad day." Myers is white.

The issue in the appeal was focused on phrases used by the lead county prosecutor in support of the death sentence. According to Monday’s opinion:

The most egregious appeals to racial prejudice came in his closing argument, in which [county prosecutor Donald Myers] referred to Bennett using a slew of derogatory terms. Myers admonished the jury, “Meeting [Bennett] again will be like meeting King Kong on a bad day.” He also labeled Bennett a “caveman,” a “mountain man,” a “monster,” a “big old tiger,” and “[t]he beast of burden.” In addition, Myers intentionally elicited irrelevant, inflammatory testimony from one of the state’s witnesses, who recounted a dream in which he was chased by murderous, black Indians. While cross-examining a defense witness, Myers alluded to Bennett’s sexual partner as “the blonde-headed lady,”

A U.S. district court judge viewed the references to the defendant in front of an all-white jury as “a not so subtle dog whistle on race that this Court cannot and will not ignore.”

Myers' comments, the appellate judges wrote, "mined a vein of historical prejudice against African-Americans." The "King Kong" comment in particular, they noted, "stoked race-based fears by conjuring the image of a gargantuan, black ape who goes on a killing spree and proceeds to swing the frail, white, blonde Fay Wray at the top of the Empire State Building."

Fourth Circuit Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, who wrote Monday’s opinion, agreed:

The prosecutor’s comments were poorly disguised appeals to racial prejudice. It is impossible to divorce the prosecutor’s “King Kong” remark, “caveman” label, and other descriptions of a black capital defendant from their odious historical context. And in context, the prosecutor’s comments mined a vein of historical prejudice against African-Americans, who have been appallingly disparaged as primates or members of a subhuman species in some lesser state of evolution. We are mindful that courts “should not lightly infer that a prosecutor intends an ambiguous remark to have its most damaging meaning.”… But here, “the prosecutor’s remarks were quite focused, unambiguous, and strong.”…. The comments plugged into potent symbols of racial prejudice, encouraging the jury to fear Bennett or regard him as less human on account of his race.

John Blume, a lawyer for Mr. Bennett, praised the ruling. “It is antithetical to the criminal justice system for a prosecutor to pander to an all-white jury’s racial fears and implicit biases,” he told the Wall Street Journal.

Prominent Computer Scientists Urge Clinton Campaign to Challenge Election Results in 3 Swing States

From [HERE] and [HERE] Hillary Clinton is being urged by a group of prominent computer scientists and election lawyers to call for a recount in three swing states won by Donald Trump. The group, which includes voting-rights attorney John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, believes they’ve found persuasive evidence that results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been manipulated or hacked.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday. The scientists told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source.

The academics presented findings showing that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic-voting machines compared with counties that used optical scanners and paper ballots. Based on this statistical analysis, Clinton may have been denied as many as 30,000 votes; she lost Wisconsin by 27,000. While it’s important to note the group has not found proof of hacking or manipulation, they are arguing to the campaign that the suspicious pattern merits an independent review — especially in light of the fact that the Obama White House has accused the Russian government of hacking the Democratic National Committee.

According to current tallies, Trump has won 290 Electoral College votes to Clinton’s 232, with Michigan’s 16 votes not apportioned because the race there is still too close to call. It would take overturning the results in both Wisconsin (10 Electoral College votes) and Pennsylvania (20 votes), in addition to winning Michigan’s 16, for Clinton to win the Electoral College. There is also the complicating factor of “faithless electors,” or members of the Electoral College who do not vote according to the popular vote in their states. At least six electoral voters have said they would not vote for Trump, despite the fact that he won their states.

The Clinton camp is running out of time to challenge the election. According to one of the activists, the deadline in Wisconsin to file for a recount is Friday; in Pennsylvania, it’s Monday; and Michigan is next Wednesday. Whether Clinton will call for a recount remains unclear. The academics so far have only a circumstantial case that would require not just a recount but a forensic audit of voting machines. Also complicating matters, a senior Clinton adviser said, is that the White House, focused on a smooth transfer of power, does not want Clinton to challenge the election result. Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri did not respond to a request for comment. But some Clinton allies are intent on pushing the issue. This afternoon, Huma Abedin’s sister Heba encouraged her Facebook followers to lobby the Justice Department to audit the 2016 vote. “Call the DOJ…and tell them you want the votes audited,” she wrote. “Even if it’s busy, keep calling.”

'Stupid Trump Votary Not Worried About Global Warming because Jesus is coming back soon' - Chomsky

There are other factors in Trump's success. Comparative studies show that doctrines of white supremacy have had an even more powerful grip on American culture than in South Africa, and it's no secret that the white population is declining. In a decade or two, whites are projected to be a minority of the work force, and not too much later, a minority of the population. The traditional conservative culture is also perceived as under attack by the successes of identity politics, regarded as the province of elites who have only contempt for the ''hard-working, patriotic, church-going [white] Americans with real family values'' who see their familiar country as disappearing before their eyes.

One of the difficulties in raising public concern over the very severe threats of global warming is that 40 percent of the U.S. population does not see why it is a problem, since Christ is returning in a few decades. About the same percentage believe that the world was created a few thousand years ago. If science conflicts with the Bible, so much the worse for science. It would be hard to find an analogue in other societies.

The Democratic Party abandoned any real concern for working people by the 1970s, and they have therefore been drawn to the ranks of their bitter class enemies, who at least pretend to speak their language—Reagan's folksy style of making little jokes while eating jelly beans; George W. Bush's carefully cultivated image of a regular guy you could meet in a bar who loved to cut brush on the ranch in 100-degree heat and his probably faked mispronunciations (it's unlikely that he talked like that at Yale); and now Trump, who gives voice to people with legitimate grievances—people who have lost not just jobs, but also a sense of personal self-worth—and who rails against the government that they perceive as having undermined their lives (not without reason).

One of the great achievements of the doctrinal system has been to divert anger from the corporate sector to the government that implements the programs that the corporate sector designs, such as the highly protectionist corporate/investor rights agreements that are uniformly mis-described as "free trade agreements" in the media and commentary. With all its flaws, the government is, to some extent, under popular influence and control, unlike the corporate sector. It is highly advantageous for the business world to foster hatred for pointy-headed government bureaucrats and to drive out of people's minds the subversive idea that the government might become an instrument of popular will, a government of, by and for the people.

CP: Is Trump representing a new movement in American politics, or was the outcome of this election primarily a rejection of Hillary Clinton by voters who hate the Clintons and are fed-up with "politics as usual?"

NC: It's by no means new. Both political parties have moved to the right during the neoliberal period. Today's new Democrats are pretty much what used to be called "moderate Republicans." The "political revolution" that Bernie Sanders called for, rightly, would not have greatly surprised Dwight Eisenhower. The Republicans have moved so far toward a dedication to the wealthy and the corporate sector that they cannot hope to get votes on their actual programs, and have turned to mobilizing sectors of the population that have always been there, but not as an organized coalitional political force: evangelicals, nativists, racists and the victims of the forms of globalization designed to set working people around the world in competition with one another while protecting the privileged and undermining the legal and other measures that provided working people with some protection, and with ways to influence decision-making in the closely linked public and private sectors, notably with effective labor unions.

Consequences have been evident in recent Republican primaries. Every candidate that has emerged from the base, such as [Michele] Bachmann, [Herman] Cain or [Rick] Santorum, has been so extreme that the Republican establishment had to use its ample resources to beat them down. The difference in 2016 is that the establishment failed, much to its chagrin, as we have seen.

Deservedly or not, Clinton represented the policies that were feared and hated, while Trump was seen as the symbol of "change"—change of what kind requires a careful look at his actual proposals, something largely missing in what reached the public. The campaign itself was remarkable in its avoidance of issues, and media commentary generally complied, keeping to the concept that true "objectivity" means reporting accurately what is "within the beltway," but not venturing beyond.

No White Hoods Necessary [but photos of guests were not allowed]: White Nationalists Meet to Put A Sanitized Public Face On Racism

"White Supremacy is white degeneracy wrongly cast as supremacy." According to Wikipedia, proponents of white nationalism identify with and are attached to the concept of a white nation. The ideology ranges from a preference for one's specific white ethnic group, to feelings of superiority, including calls for national citizenship to be reserved for white people. They avoid the term supremacy because it would reveal the deception.  White nationalism exists to provide a sanitized public face for white supremacy, and most white nationalist groups promote racial violence.

According to Neely Fuller as long as white supremacy exists every person classified as 'white' should be suspected of being Racist'. With these freaky folks, no other evidence is necessary, white nationalists are definitely racists -"upholders, supporters and perpetrators of the institution of the White Supremacy Dynamic. An often misunderstood term confusing bigotry (personal dislike of a clan of men and women) with that of a system of oppression (structured and perpetuated injustice--racism) by merchants and slavers."

From [NPR] Loyalists [still wearing Trump hats] of the self-described white nationalist, alt-right movement from around the country gathered in D.C. Saturday afternoon, enthused by the election of Donald Trump and optimistic that their controversial, offensive views such as calling for a white, ethnocentric state were on the rise throughout the country.

"The alt-right is here, the alt-right is not going anywhere, the alt-right is going to change the world," Richard Spencer, head of the white nationalist think tank the National Policy Institute (NPI) promised at a press conference.

About 300 people — split nearly evenly between conference attendees and protesters of the conference outside — were on hand at the downtown D.C. event.

Spencer told journalists that he doesn't believe Trump himself is alt-right, the term he coined that's come to embody white supremacist, anti-Semitic and sexist ideas. But it was clear that his surprise election has given the once fringe movement a jolt, and on Saturday they were eager to take a victory lap. Spencer called Trump's campaign "the first step towards identity politics in the United States."

Spencer also restricted journalists from taking photos of the crowd inside the building to prevent the identification of attendees without their permission.

Before Trump, Spencer said, the alt-right was like a "head without a body," but then Trump came along and his campaign became "kind of a body without a head." He described the alt-right as having a "psychic connection" with Trump in way they don't have with other Republicans, and expressed hope that, "moving forward, the alt-right can, as an intellectual vanguard, complete Trump."

One of their chief policy proposals they hope to push through is a 50-year immigration freeze, with a preference given to European immigrants coming into the U.S. Spencer told NPR's Kelly McEvers in an interview Thursday that their ultimate goal was "a safe space effectively for Europeans," arguing for a return to the white origins of the country and protecting the white race.

'Deez Nuts' [racists] are Worldwide: Fearing a Non-White Nation, France May Also Elect a Racist

Selling More Racism. No matter what substantive issues might be at stake the mindless white votary is always super concerned about their new neighbors' skin color & what god they pray to. Whites make up less than 10% of the world's population & their numbers are shrinking. White people's worst and most basic fear is genetic annihilation or replacement in the form of the fear of the impending "Black Planet." [MORE] and [MORE]. Whites are highly motivated by this fear. If a campaign can tap into this idiocy it has struck pure gold. Knowing how to push white people's buttons, elite whites probably can get fearful, reactionary white folks to do damn near anything when motivated by racism. Program sound familair? [MORE]

Deez Nuts Now On The French Ballot. From [HERE] and [HEREFront National leader Marine Le Pen [aka Onya Chin] has taken a sizeable lead over Nicolas Sarkozy in a new French presidential election poll. The far-right leader had 29 per cent of the vote when pitted against Les Républicains’ former president, who was eight points behind, and held a 15-point lead over the Parti de Gauche’s Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the poll released by Ipsos.

Angry white French voters will choose Le Pen as their next president, supporters say, as her far right Front National party enjoys a surge in popularity following the election of Donald Trump [aka Deez Nutz] by a white votary motivated by racism. The UN recently noted "the rising racism, xenophobia and intolerance aimed at members of ethnic and religious minorities, as well as migrants, in many European countries such as France. [MORE]

The party - which has seen its support triple in five years - insists it is not racist, but tapping into disillusionment and a demand for a new type of right wing politics.

‘I believe Marine Le Pen can be the next president of France,’ said Front National spokesman Georges Michel. ‘Things have to change!’

Ground down by unemployment, terrified by two Islamic terrorist attacks in less than a year and confronted by high levels of immigration from North Africa, France’s working classes are looking for fresh ideas.

MailOnline visited the forgotten towns and villages of the south of France that is the heartland of FN to peer behind the gloss of the far-right party and investigate whether Marine has the support necessary to propel her into the Elysee Palace.

Le Pen has predicted she will become leader of France in the third part of a ‘global’ revolution after Brexit and Trump's unexpected win.

‘The Front National is not a racialist party,’ Mr Michel, party assistant secretary in the Vaucluse department, where the Front National holds one of only two parliamentary seats told MailOnline.

‘We are a French sovereign party, which believes France is a Christian country based on European culture and traditions.

‘You do not have to be white to be French, think of the people in [the French Caribbean department] Martinique. But we are against the growing influence of Muslims and Islam on our culture.

Carol Flaindin, 65, added: ‘What have we got to lose by voting for the Front National?

‘I don’t like Donald Trump, I’ve got nothing good to say about him, but his election victory has shown that the little people can win.

‘And us French people have had enough – enough immigration, enough crime, enough terrorism.

‘We must stop the politicians from treating the French people like fools.

‘It is time for French people to stand up for ourselves or we are going to be taken over by Muslims. I keep a gun under my bed to defend myself.’ [MORE]

Steve Bannon Says 'he is not a white nationalist - just a nationalist.' [what is nationalism?]

Racist suspect, Steve Bannon, who is the "chief strategist" of the Blight House told the Hollywood Reporter last week, "I'm not a white nationalist, I'm a nationalist. I'm an economic nationalist."

Racists love words - so they can create confusion and deceive. What exactly is "nationalism?" Always endeavoring to undeceive, Dr. Blynd offers the following in Funktionary

Nationalism - the natural collective commitment on the part of the members of a society and/or culture to its economic and political defense, its survival and its perpetuation, not limited by the concept of non-geographical or non-territorial "nation-state" (commercial religious monopolies erroneously known as "governments.") Michael Bakunin aptly and rightly claimed that "the "negative component' of nationalism is just as essential as the 'positive component' and inseparable from it." Class collaboration and cultural identity cannot be readily decoupled in reality—maybe as a goal—but not in reality. Racism/white supremacy must be addressed and dismantled before any class-unification or cross-collaboration can be successful in bringing about more economic equality or even liberation for the people (dwellers upon the land) in the absence of any politically institutionalized hierarchy of imperialist white male domination and dehumanizing subjugation of humans through the trickery of statutes and by-laws that enforce compelled performance to same. Racist Suspect Michigan Governor Refuses to Comply with Court Order to Deliver Bottled Water to Flint residents

From [HERE] and [MORE] The state of Michigan on Thursday challenged a federal court order demanding that officials deliver bottled water to Flint residents who can’t easily pick up their own from distribution sites around the city, calling the requirement “unnecessary” and saying it would require “a tremendous expenditure of taxpayer funds.” Flint is nearly 60% Black. [MOREThe water crisis has lasted 30 months. [MORE] and [MORE]

The legal filing requests a stay to the order issued last week by U.S. District Judge David M. Lawson, who ruled that state and city officials must immediately begin delivering four cases of bottled water each week to qualified households, particularly those that don’t have a properly installed or maintained water filter. The state said it plans to appeal the order to the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. The city of Flint was not a party to Thursday’s motion.

It has been more than a year since state officials acknowledged that Flint’s water was tainted with dangerous levels of lead, and more than two years since residents began complaining about problems with the water in the wake of a decision by a state-appointed emergency manager to switch the supply source to the Flint River to save money. Even now, residents cannot trust what flows from their taps.

“A safe water supply has always been critical to civilization,” Lawson wrote in his decision a week ago. “The Flint water crisis has in effect turned back the clock to a time when people traveled to central water sources to fill their buckets and carry the water home.”

[‘If I could afford to leave, I would.’ In Flint, a water crisis with no end in sight.]

But in its motion Thursday, racist suspect, Republican Gov. Rick Snyder’s administration claimed that the vast majority of Flint homes have filters on their taps, and that bottled water and replacement filters are readily available at numerous distribution points around the city. In addition, the state said relief workers maintain a list of elderly or otherwise homebound residents who need regular deliveries, and that they would continue to provide “immediate relief” to anyone they can identify who is struggling to get access to clean water.

Finally, the state claims that having to deliver cases of water to a large number of Flint residents each week could undermine other relief efforts. “The response to Flint involves much more than providing bottled water and filters,” Thursday’s motion reads. “It includes, among other things, fruits and vegetables, food-bank support, and other nutrition assistance to Flint children; provision of mental health services; provision of school nurses; and lead-abatement programming.”

State officials said requiring door-to-door water delivery could cost an estimated $10.5 million a month and require 137 additional delivery trucks and numerous additional personnel. They argued it also would result in nearly 5 million more plastic bottles each week overwhelming the Flint recycling system and could slow the recovery of the water system by decreasing the amount of water flowing through pipes, which is necessary to flush out lead particles and recoat pipes with orthophosphate.

Advocacy groups behind the federal lawsuit that prompted the order were quick to criticize the state on Thursday, saying the state should have to ensure that every resident has access to clean water.

“Seeking to delay the federal court order that the state immediately fix Flint’s water crisis is an obvious insult to the people of Flint, whose tap water has been contaminated with lead for more than two years,” Henry Henderson, Midwest director for the Natural Resources Defense Council, said in a statement.

Pastor Allen Overton, of the group Concerned Pastors for Social Action, said the effort to delay the judge’s order represents an effort to continue to “disenfranchise” Flint residents.

“What happened to Gov. Snyder’s pledge that he would work to fix Flint’s drinking water crisis?” Overton said in a statement. “This action today inflicts more harm on a city that’s already hurting.”
