A coalition of Hispanic-rights
groups say the U-S immigration system is "badly broken." The National
Hispanic Leadership Agenda also blasted the nation's post-Nine-Eleven
immigration policies and strategies as harmful to Hispanic Americans.
The statement was presented yesterday at the annual convention of the
League of United Latin American Citizens in San Antonio. [more]
