Racist Miami Police Officer Alters Photo of Black Man Killed by Cops

From [HERE] and [HERE] A Miami commissioner said an e-mail sent by a Miami Police officer is "racist" and "unacceptable." Commissioner Richard Dunn received an e-mail of an altered photo of 24-year-old Durrall Miller. 

Miami Police sergeant and Fraternal Order of Police Vice President Javier Ortiz admitted to doctoring the photo. In the photo, Miller’s eyes were colored blood-red and his teeth were made cartoonish and jagged.

Miller is a Black man who was shot and killed in Miami Gardens by Miami-Dade police two weeks ago after police said he answered the door and threatened them with an AK-47. The shooting ended a four-day manhunt for the man alleged to have shot a police officer in the foot during a standoff in south Miami-Dade. CommissionerDunn said it is “the most racist thing I’ve seen in my life. Ortiz said the picture was intended for the view of union membership, not for public consumption.

The altered photo of Miller had been circling within the Fraternal Order off Police and somehow made its way to Dunn's desk. "It is irresponsible for a person in a leadership position, vice president of the FOP to be e-mailing people with this and making some type of joke out of it," said Dunn. "It's not a joke. Even if a person is on the wrong side of the law, we still should treat it with professionalism, and this is totally unacceptable."

Sergeant Javier Ortiz sent the e-mail. He responded to Dunn's reaction with this statement: "The e-mail is not in anyway to be considered a form of racism. Commissioner Dunn says that the photo depicts 'demon red eyes and demon sharp teeth.' He is correct. Durrall Miller is a demon because he tried to kill two Miami-Dade Police Officers."

Its not racist, he shot at cops. As a person of color, you shouldn't always throw the race card.

So the mere fact that someone is accused of shooting a police man makes on a demon. HMMM. Using that logic why give the suspect a trial ? This cartoon was racist because ti condemned the suspect before any testimony or evidence was presented in court. It lynched him symbolically.
