From [HERE] Charlie Sheen has been sued by a dental tech who claims the actor cursed at her, tried to pull off her bra and punched her in the chest during a dentist appointment.
Dental technician Margarita Palestino sued Sheen in Superior Court on Friday in a complaint for assault, battery, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
According to her 7-page complaint, Sheen arrived at dentist George Bogen's clinic on North Larchmont Avenue on Sept. 25 for an appointment.
By the time Sheen had left, Palestino claims, he had assaulted her, left spit all over the walls, sent dental instruments and expletives flying, and stabbed an examination chair repeatedly with a knife. Bogen told Palestino after Sheen had left that the star was drunk and high on crack, cocaine and Theradol, according to her Oct. 3 lawsuit in Superior Court.
Palestino claims that Sheen's personal assistant paid her off with $500 to make up for the actor's alleged behavior.
Sheen denied that he was on drugs or had assaulted anyone, according to TMZ. Sheen's camp said that he had a bad reaction to the nitrous oxide he was given. The star's lawyer Martin Singer told TMZ on Oct. 2 that the tech had filed suit after she was fired.
"The story is being made up by this woman [the dental technician] who was fired on Friday for violating HIPAA by telling her son Charlie was in the office. It got back to Charlie and the dentist fired her," Singer said. But Palestino claims that a commotion started soon after Sheen arrived at the clinic with his bodyguard and personal assistant.
Sheen "yelled incoherently" as he entered the clinic and was quickly shuttled off to an examination room, she says.
When Palestino tried to place a nitrous oxide mask on Sheen's face, the actor ripped off the mask, sent dental instruments flying to the floor, and yelled "'I'm going to fucking kill you!" the complaint states.
After she tried to place the mask on Sheen a second time, he "grabbed her bra strap, and forcefully pulled it down in an attempt to open or remove her bra," according to the complaint.
Palestino says she was so scared that she ran out of the room. She claims that another dentist told her that Sheen had lunged at him with a knife and repeatedly stabbed the examination chair.
When Palestino returned to the room to help Bogen place a topical anesthetic in Sheen's mouth, the walls of the room were covered in spit, she claims.
"While Bogen was waiting for the anesthetic to take effect, defendant glared at plaintiff and asked his bodyguard, 'Gary, tell them what you do for a fucking living. Gary, tell them how many guys you have fucking killed. About a thousand? Right, Gary?'" the lawsuit states.
Palestino claims that as Bogen tried to administer the anesthetic, Sheen "violently bolted out of the room" and "forcefully punched" her in the chest.
Though Bogen allegedly told Palestino to continue treating Sheen, she says she was too scared and refused to return to the examination room.
She says that Sheen's personal assistant gave her $500 before he left, and told her: "'This is for your troubles.'
"After defendant left the dental office, Bogen ordered plaintiff to clean the mess that was left behind in the examination room, including the spit off the walls. As plaintiff was cleaning defendant's spit, Bogen told plaintiff that defendant was 'high" on a combination of crack cocaine, Theradol, and alcohol," the lawsuit states. Palestino seeks damages for assault and battery, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She is represented by Neama Rahmani with West Coast Trial Lawyers.
