In a third and possibly final blow for a
group of African-Americans who accused Six Flags Magic Mountain
of racial discrimination, an appeals court has upheld a ruling in favor
of the theme park. Nearly five years after 10 young customers, 12
to 19, said they were beaten and thrown out of the Valencia theme
park, the state Court of Appeal ruled Monday that Six Flags Theme
Parks Inc. did not violate the plaintiffs' civil rights. [more]
