Detroit mayor's deposition expected

Kilpatrick is part of lawsuit under Whistleblower Act
Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is expected to be deposed this week in the lawsuit of a former Detroit Police deputy chief and a current officer who claimed they were retaliated against. Former Deputy Police Chief Gary Brown and Officer Harold Nelthrope filed suit against the mayor, police chief and the city under the Whistleblower Protection Act. They claim they were targeted by the Kilpatrick administration after they raised allegations of impropriety by city officials. [more]
