A fire after an explosion at BP's
420,000-barrels-per-day Whiting, Indiana oil refinery is under control,
local police say. The refinery is the nation's third largest, according
to BP BP.L . The company could not be immediately reached on whether
production was affected by the blast. Whiting's Detective Sergeant
Donald Greer said on Friday there was one minor injury after the large
blast. "I live a mile from the refinery and I could feel my walls
trembling," said Greer about the blast. [more ]
