So Ms Parker [HERE] now recommends personal responsibility, ownership and faith as the mission for the NAACP and suggest they have not embraced such tenets all along  . She is not only arrogantly wrong about the NAACP  but  a purposely and insidiously disingenuous  messenger. Ms Parker is  of a dubious background  to be an  heralded expert on social and fiscal policy , being a former welfare cheat , gang member  and now  person of faith qualifies one quite narrowly, I think . Further, she  has had even  more dubious proponents, in her  brief period of righteous acclaim ; Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity hardly qualify as considered thinkers or policy experts .

Sadly , our nation's plutocrats  use their  Star Parker's primarily to help create a veneer of legitimacy and acceptance for  their anti-civil rights, anti-just society agenda. If  she were just misguided , a big alarm clock
and some expresso  might help her.  But as we know this is not a case of simply being misguided  , so I suggest  she undertake a more complete review of the teachings of Christ , especially the passages about helping our
 fellow man .

Her adopted plutocrat infused  brand of personal responsibility, ownership and faith bidding  is the same " don't fight for your rights , just bend  over and take it"  , message  conservatives have been spewing since the
days of Ronald  Reagan's  sermonizing  to the bootless to " pull yourself up by your own bootstraps  "  . At the same time  they proselytize a "society don't owe you nothing " message to the middle class and the poor , they cut
taxes for the richest among us and  shift the tax burden to pay for programs favored by the rich to the middle class and the poor , David Cay Johnston lays out this  little slight of hand in  his book  " Perfectly Legal. "

Further, while preaching their disingenuous self-serving "help thy self"crap to those least able to do so , these plutocrats gut labor and civil rights laws , eliminate funding for legal aid to the poor , cut funding for food , shelter and healthcare to the disadvantaged, pretend to increase funding for education and flood the country with illegal quasi slave labor .

Star Parker's  patrons think nothing of funding  Star Wars like defense programs , corporate agriculture subsidies and trade programs and policies which primarily benefit  the top managers  of corporations and the wealthy. They have created an America in which Wal-Mart is now our nations  largest employer and  are to selfish to recognize that this kind of economic reality threatens even themselves  along with everyone else ; 66% of our economy
depends on consumer spending , now !  just what are we gonna buy on a Wal-Mart incomes.

Finally , the NAACP hardly benefits from or needs consultation from a wiling or unwitting  serpent  in the garden.
