This would be crystallized in the American people themselves. They can be numbed to reason because reason is suspect when a theocracy says it is. A theocracy condemns the people to any hell that the mullahs present to them as real. No more thinking. No more doubting. American men will be told, not asked, not reasoned with, not persuaded, but told what is in their best interests.
