Latino NYC cops charge bias at precinct

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly has ordered a probe into charges that Bronx cops hung a noose in an NYPD stationhouse to intimidate minority officers. The racial discrimination allegations were leveled yesterday by the National Latino Officers Association of America. The association charged that cops at the 42nd Precinct in Tremont displayed the noose onSept. 9 to "intimidate officers of color" and deter them from charging that white officers got better assignments during theRepublican National Convention.
