Oklahoma tribe and Colorado Gov. Disagree on Casino

"The war of words between the Cheyenne and
Arapaho tribes and the governor of Colorado has heated up, with tribal
officials accusing Bill Owens of possessing a "John Wayne style of
negotiating." The C&A are trying to build a $150 million casino,
and offered to drop an existing land claim to about 27 million acres in
the state. The proposal is "something that some could view as
extortion," said Owens spokesman Dan Hopkins. [more]
