Rappers 'Dead Prez' bring Police Harrassment Claims against the NYPD

A member of the hip-hop group "deadprez"
and three members of his entourage filed suit Wednesday against the
city and Police Department saying their civil rights were violated when
they were wrongfully arrested in Brooklyn last year. Clayton Gavin, 29, known as "Stic.man" and the others contend they were
conducting a photo shoot outside a Crown Heights apartment building on
Sept. 27, 2003, when two female officers accosted them. [more]
