Touted as a "more credible method" for collecting
data on racial profiling, a report by the Oakland Racial Profiling Task
Force was presented at a congressional luncheon Monday afternoon hosted
by the Rand Corp., a nonprofit research organization. The report is
expected to be sent to the Department of Justice for use as a guide for
other cities looking to track racial profiling. [more]
