Haddonfield man will become 1st Puerto Rican on NJ Supreme Court
Veteran casino lawyer Roberto A. Rivera-Soto will be the first Hispanic
on the state Supreme Court, following his unanimous confirmation
Thursday by the state Senate. Described as tenacious by his many
supporters and stubborn by his critics, Rivera-Soto, 50, a Haddonfield
resident, will be the first Puerto Rican on any state's highest court
when he joins the bench, probably in early September. [more]
