Virginia Congressman Wins Primary despite anti-Jewish remark

Representative James P. Moran of Virginia easily
won the Democratic primary yesterday over Andrew M. Rosenberg, a former
policy adviser to Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Mr. Rosenberg mounted a
vigorous challenge after Mr. Moran said "leaders of the Jewish
community'' had helped to push the nation into war with Iraq. The
remarks angered constituents and fellow representatives. [more]
