A federal jury has found a former Milwaukee police officer did not use excessive force when he shot and killed man in 2002.Jon Bartlett testified that he shot in self-defense after he saw 31-year-old Larry Jenkins behind the wheel of a car accelerating toward him. He said he thought Jenkins was trying to kill him.But Jenkins' family testified he wasn't even behind the wheel when Bartlett shot him seven times.Bartlett was fired from the police department after he and two other officers were charged in the 2004 beating of Frank Jude Jr.Last month Bartlett was acquitted of charges in that beating.
